Harvester Christian Church desires to be a safe place where the brokenhearted can find comfort. We recognize it is becoming more and more common for our neighbors to experience traumatic events that can lead to negative outcomes such as depression, physical illness, and relational struggles, making it difficult to cope. It is our desire to come alongside our neighbors and connect them with professionals in the field as well as raise the awareness of Harvester Christians about mental health issues. It is a Local Outreach focus to support local ministries that lead the lost and wounded to a caring God. Harvester Christians currently serve in this capacity by providing support and encouragement to local school teachers and first responders.
2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.”
