One of the best questions we receive is “I think I need to be baptized. What do I need to do?” The next best question for us to hear after that is “I want to get involved in serving. What do I need to do?” We are glad you asked!
A critical belief for HCC is unleashing hope in our community. We do this through generosity and justice. We have key ministry and community partners that we do our best to support throughout the year with serving opportunities. In one week you might find one of our School Outreach Crews delivering Food Backpacks to children experiencing food insecurity or hosting a Teacher Appreciation luncheon. In that same week, you might find Harvester Christians sharing a meal with the residents at Faith Haven House or providing bible studies in the St. Charles County jail. Even if you have a calling or passion that HCC doesn’t officially partner with we are glad to help you figure out the best way to use your gifts and talents outside the walls of HCC.
There are just as many serving opportunities inside the church as well. Prayer Ministry, Children’s Ministry, Student Ministry, Guest Services, First Impressions, and Office Volunteers are just a few of the ways to become involved in serving inside the walls of HCC.
