HCC Local Outreach hosted a training in Mid January 2026 to prepare volunteers to serve at the HCC Warming Center. We thought it would be helpful to record the training to share with new volunteers and provide a refresher to those who have served before. Each slide describes what content is covered. Simply click on the video in each slide to watch and learn. Most videos are between 7-12 minutes long. However, the video covering policies and procedures has the most details and is 25 minutes long. The coordinating documents will also be posted on this blog as well as in the Emergency Weather Response Team group in the Harvester app.
