Broken & Beautiful Prison Ministry Pen Pals
What you’ll be doing
You can emotionally support and spiritually encourage incarcerated women, on your own schedule, by being an email pen pal through The Broken and Beautiful Prison Ministry. After training, pen pals email a woman assigned to them from Broken & Beautiful Prison Ministry at least once a month.
A minimum of one email a month to encourage and help women draw closer to Jesus. Training is required. Email Carissa to learn about this serving opportunity: cfiggins@harvester.cc

Broken and Beautiful Prison Ministry
Broken and Beautiful’s mission is to share Christ’s love with incarcerated women, and then walk with them as they embrace God’s truth after release. To start this mission, we bring Christ into Missouri’s women’s prisons through our weekly services and classes. After release, we continue down this path by providing four key components: Provide Christian-based counseling and peer support to deal with past trauma, abuse, and neglect, Create a Christian community of formerly incarcerated women centered on love, Build up their faith through discipleship training and Christian education, and Offer avenues to serve God as they grow their faith.
